On October 27, 2006 I had the opportunity to deliver two presentations at the Alabama.Net Code Camp in Montgomery. One of my presentations (Intro to Windows Workflow Foundation) was included as part of the .Net U series being offered by Microsoft. This presentation gave an overview of WF, debugging, sequential workflows, receiving parameters into a workflow, and exchanging data with a host application. My second presentation (Using Web Services with WF) looked as exposing a workflow as a web service, and consuming a workflow from a web service.

Overall, the Code Camp was a great success with around 125 people in attendance. In particular, I heard a good bit of buzz centered around the WF product. Approximately 15 people completed all four sessions for Microsoft's .Net U. Doug Turnure, Microsoft Developer Evangelist, coordinated the .Net U efforts - good job Doug!

As a side note, I will be delivering the .Net U presentations as a four part series of internal webcasts for my company, SRA International.
